Rohail Shehzad
Master's student in Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Informatics), University of Münster
My story
I did my Bachelor's through Virtual University back home, and I'm now in Münster, Germany, pursuing my Master's in Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Informatics) at the University of Münster. When I first decided to make that move, I quickly found out there was no real roadmap for it. I turned to Facebook groups and forums hoping for clear answers, but most of what I found was scattered, outdated, or just people repeating half-correct information to each other. Verifying my university on anabin, getting the right attestations from my education board, IBCC, HEC, and MOFA, figuring out what needed to be notarized versus sent in person — none of it was laid out anywhere. I had to piece it together the hard way, and it cost me far more time, money, and stress than it should have.
Why Studiumde exists
That experience is exactly why this website exists. I didn't want the next student to burn weeks chasing the same answers I had to dig up on my own, so I turned everything I learned into a clear, step-by-step guide — the process, the paperwork, and the mistakes to avoid. If you're a Pakistani student trying to make sense of applying to study in Germany, this is the guidance I wish someone had handed me from the start.
